UW-Green Bay Jazz Ensembles perform May 6

The University Theatre is the venue at 7:30 p.m. Thursday (May 6) when straightforward standards to Broadway melodies, to reworking of 1960’s pop hits, all get the jazz treatment for the performance of Jazz Ensembles I and II, the Vocal Jazz Ensemble and the Jazz Combo. There’s a segment that will include directors and Profs. Adam Gaines and John Salerno joining the Jazz Ensemble II on trumpet and saxophone for “Brotherhood of Man,” from the Broadway musical How to Succeed in Business Without Really Trying.  It’s the 33rd concert of the 2009-2010 season.
