Learn about mental health in the Asian community at “Silent Suffering: Mental Health Taboos in the Asian Community”

Please join the Student Engagement Center(SEC) and the Multi-Ethnic Student Affairs (MESA) Office as both departments host Sheng Lee Yang, Social Work Lecturer and Executive Director of Us 2 Behavioral Health Care Inc on Thursday, April 20, 2023 from 11:30am-1:30pm in the 1965 Room in the University Union of the Green Bay Campus. Bring your lunch and colleagues to learn from this interactive and engaging training about mental health in the Asian community.

This event is part of Asian Heritage Month which celebrates history, culture, contributions and achievements of Asian Americans and Pacific Islanders. Asian Heritage Month is federally recognized in the month of May, however, UW-Green Bay has traditionally celebrated it in April to ensure full opportunity for programming.
