The 25th Spring Garden Conference in Marinette offers a day of learning and fun for gardeners of all skill levels | Bay Cities Radio
The Northern Lights Master Gardeners Association Conference celebrates its 25th year of excellence in garden education with a one-day conference featuring sessions that cover a wide range of topics addressing a growing interest in backyard gardening. Delores Konrad, Extension Master Gardener says, “the conference is for everyone. You don’t have to be a garden expert and you don’t have to be a master gardener. If you have an interest in gardening, come on out and see us.”
Konrad says, “there are a number of classes and it’s everything from planting in containers, to learning how to paint a decorative post for your garden, or I’m doing a class on how to make your own cordials.”
Registration is now being accepted for the conference, which will be held Saturday, March 18th at the UW-Green Bay Marinette campus. The cost is $40, which includes morning refreshments, four educational sessions, plus a lunch. Brochures covering the sessions and registration are available at local libraries and partnering businesses. You can also find more information online including a link to the brochure at the Northern Lights Master Gardeners Association Facebook page. Registration must be received with payment prior to March 6th.
