‘Historic’ UW Regents decision propels new Western Technical College transfer degree

LA CROSSE (WKBT) – Western Technical College President Roger Stanford declared the state Board of Regents’ recent approval of transfers from technical schools to the UW System as “truly an historic day” for Western campuses.

“Above all, this agreement makes bachelor’s degrees more attainable to more people,” Stanford said in a news release Tuesday to announce Western’s launch of a new Associate of Arts transfer degree scheduled for fall.
