Don’t miss DanceWorks, April 6-7; Band Concert April 5

UW-Green Bay talent is on parade this weekend starting with Kevin Collins as he directs the UW-Green Bay’s Orchestra, Wind Ensemble and Symphonic Band, April 5, 2019, or evening of diverse symphonic music featuring works by Elgar, Ticheli, Cichy, Galliard and others. The Wind Ensemble is UW-Green Bay’s premiere concert band, performing a wide range of challenging repertoire both solo and with the UW-Green Bay Orchestra, which is comprised primarily of stringed instruments. The Symphonic Band features students from all over campus and performs a high quality and entertaining repertoire.

UW-Green Bay Theatre and Dance will be presenting “DanceWorks” Saturday, April 6, 2019 at 7:30 p.m. and Sunday, April 7, 2019 at 3 p.m. in the University Theatre located in UW-Green Bay’s Theatre Hall. Under the artistic direction of Denise Carlson-Gardner, come celebrate dance in a concert of faculty and student choreography representing a diverse medley of styles.
