Green Bay, WI – Registration is open for UW-Green Bay’s Lifelong Learning Institute (LLI) Spring 2024 courses, perfectly timed for the holidays. This makes a perfect gift for the parent, grandparent or other senior in your life. Through this interactive, learning community more than 500 members engage with hundreds of classes every semester taught by current and retired faculty and community enthusiasts.
LLI has created an exciting line-up of 188 in-person courses, live and recorded online classes, outdoor classes and tours. Course topics include arts, crafts, culinary, fitness, science and nature, and more. Health and wellness courses like “Sleeping through the Ages” offer up-to-date guidance. Special interest courses range from “Family Histories” to “Dogs with Jobs.”
“Course listings for Spring 2024,” says Heidi Jahnke, Program Specialist for LLI, “are broad-ranging and reflect current trends. Our members are energized by learning new things.”
Registration is open and completely online. A searchable online course listing and a downloadable PDF are available here. Interested individuals are encouraged to register early for the best selection. Courses are filled on a first-come, first-served basis. You must join as a member to take courses.
The spring-only LLI membership fee is $90. That fee covers Spring 2024 semester only, January-June of 2024. Members may initially register for up to 15 classes per semester with additional classes available based on enrollment.
Other benefits to membership include: exclusive invitations to social events, early bird notice of registration, subscription to members-only newsletter and special invitations to unique day trip and domestic travel opportunities (may require an extra fee).
