UW-Green Bay to hold Admitted Student Day this Saturday

Green Bay, WI — Students who are still deciding, or have already committed to becoming UW-Green Bay’s next class of resilient problem solvers and fearless dreamers, this Saturday is for YOU.

UW-Green Bay Admissions is hosting “Admitted Student Day” on Saturday, November 19th from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at the Green Bay campus location. At the event, students have the opportunity to learn more and commit to attending UW-Green Bay. More than 1,900 students have been admitted to the university for the summer/fall 2023 term compared to 1,437 last year at this time.

“We are extremely excited to share what UW-Green Bay has to offer and want to give admitted students every opportunity to fully commit to UW-Green Bay,” said Rachele Bakic, executive director of admissions at UW-Green Bay. “In addition, we want to celebrate and provide information for our students who have already decided to attend in the fall. By providing these resources, incoming students and their families may find the transtition to college easier in September of next year.”

Admitted Student Day will include an opportunity to enage with current students through a Q&A panel, a list of next steps to help students feel fully prepared, and additional information about financial aid and scholarships. A full campus tour and resource fair will also be included in the event. UW-Green Bay offers more than 200 majors, minors and emphases, with more than 75% of classes holding under 40 students. At UW-Green Bay students can learn in an atmosphere that includes personalized attention and strong relationships with classmates and professors.
