Art of the Fold: Accordion Publications

GREEN BAY – An exhibition of more than 40 publications that use the accordion fold will be on display at UW-Green Bay’s Lawton Gallery, Oct. 8-29.

The accordion fold has long been used in commercial, documentary and artistic publications.

Art of the Fold: Accordion Publications examines artists’ use of the accordion format, with an emphasis on printed materials published since 1960.

There will be an opening reception on Oct. 8 from 4:30 to 6:30 p.m., with a Curator’s talk at 5 p.m. Join the Curator for a tour and talk about the exhibit from 12:30 to 1 p.m. on Oct. 14 and Oct. 21.

The Lawton Gallery is located in Theatre Hall Room 230. Gallery hours are Tuesday – Saturday 10 a.m. – 3 p.m. All Lawton Gallery exhibits are free and open to the public.
