Lawton opens with 'i.e. illusion'
GREEN BAY — The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay’s Lawton Gallery will host a collaborative installation of “i.e. illusion” as its first exhibition for the 2009-10 season.
“i.e.” is made up of seven Chicago Art Institute graduates from all over the world, expressing contemporary issues through performance, photography, video and sculpture. The group calls its exhibit “i.e. illusion.”
The exhibit runs from Wednesday, Sept. 9, until Thursday, Oct. 1. A reception will be held from 4:30 p.m. until 6:30 p.m. on opening night with an artists’ talk at 5 p.m.
