UW-Green Bay Chancellor Michael Alexander to speak to the sea change in higher education and opportunities in front of a growing UWGB as new academic year begins

GREEN BAY, Wis. – “Now is the Time to Rise” is the theme for the 2024 Convocation on Wednesday, August 28 at 10 a.m. at The Weidner on the UW-Green Bay campus. At the event, Chancellor Michael Alexander, along with Provost and Vice Chancellor for Academic Affairs, Kate Burns and Universities of Wisconsin President Jay Rothman will address faculty and staff from the four UW-Green Bay campuses. In the midst of a rapidly changing educational landscape, they will highlight the positive momentum and bold steps the University is taking to capture the unique opportunities available to students and businesses across the region.

Additionally, the event will honor recipients of the University’s Founders Awards, given to faculty and staff for their contributions within the previous year. Universities of Wisconsin President Jay Rothman will also assist in the awards presentation.
