A new Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership partnership launches executive coaching opportunity

FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE: July 23, 2024

‘Women on the Rise’ prepares women for the C-Suite

Green Bay, Wis.— The Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership at UW-Green Bay has partnered with Honor Jensen to launch a transformative executive coaching opportunity for women in Northeast Wisconsin. The program is tailored specifically for women leaders who won’t let “how it is” determine how far they go.

“We created ‘Women on the Rise’ as a direct result of hearing the needs and wants of women in our community,” says Pa Lee Moua, executive director for the Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership. “At the institute, we believe in empowering women. Through this collaboration, we aim to address the unique challenges and opportunities women face as they progress in their leadership journey.”

The executive coaching opportunity will kick off with an in-person mini-retreat in September of 2024, continue with virtual sessions and group work October 2024 through April 2025, and close with an in-person event on May 25, 2025.

Through interactive workshops, personalized coaching, and peer-to-peer support, committed women will gain the tools, strategies and confidence needed to overcome obstacles, thrive as a leader and become “C-suite ready.” Each participant will develop a plan for growth and sustainability that encompasses:

  • Establishing an inspirational vision for career and life that creates a deep sense of meaning and fulfillment.
  • Elevating executive presence to demonstrate competence with confidence.
  • Leading with a coach approach to leadership to engage, inspire and unleash your team’s full potential.
  • Leveraging the power of story to elevate influence.
  • Converting challenges and problems into gifts and opportunities.
  • Learning how business really works to be a trusted influencer in business and industry.
  • Transforming thoughts and actions from “stuck” to “empowered” through the power of your mind.

“While the barriers to entering the C-suite as women are real, we often make the journey harder than it needs to be,” said Honor Jensen. “I don’t just help women gain clarity with a clear vision and strategic game plan, I empower them to develop critical skills, challenge their assumptions and beliefs and channel their energy to thrive in both business and life while honoring their whole and authentic self.”

To foster an environment of trust, collaboration, and confidentiality, participants will be selected based on their commitment to the group and a set of common goals that avoids competition.

Scale any hurdles in your career and empower the next generation of women with ‘Women on the Rise.’ To learn more about the opportunity, visit the website or reach out to Schreiber Institute for Women’s Leadership Executive Director, Pa Lee Moua, at mouap@uwgb.edu.
