Registration deadlines near for UW-Green Bay summer educator offerings
UW-Green Bay Education Outreach is reminding teachers, administrators and other professionals that registration deadlines are approaching for many of its Summer 2012 Offerings for Educators.
A full slate of enriching course options includes “Integrating Instructional Technology into the Curriculum,” which will focus on Google, as well as the technology-centered “Designing the 21st Century Classroom” and “Connect, Collaborate and Collect Resources for your Classroom.” Educators also can learn how to teach responsible classroom technology use through “Digital Safety and Responsibility in the 21st Century.”
The diverse array of Summer 2012 courses allows teachers, administrators and other professionals to earn undergraduate or graduate credits while enhancing their knowledge of today’s issues and trends in education. Noncredit options also are available for most classes. Courses are offered in a number of Northeastern Wisconsin locations, as well as via online and blended learning options, allowing busy educators to learn where and when it is convenient for them.
Detailed course information, including syllabi and cost and registration details, is available online at www.uwgb.edu/educationoutreach. If a course registration deadline has passed, interested educators are asked to call the Education Outreach Office at (800) 621-2313 or (920) 465-2480 to inquire about availability.
In addition to returning favorite courses, a number of new classes are being offered during the summer. New offerings continue to be developed and added throughout the year, so interested educators are asked to check back periodically for fresh options.
UW-Green Bay courses for educators align with Wisconsin standards for teacher and administrator development and licensure. Contact the Education Outreach Office with questions or for more information at (800) 621-2313 or (920) 465-2480 or educationoutreach@uwgb.edu.
