Theatre on the Bay at UW-Green Bay, Marinette Campus to Host Ribbon-Cutting Before ‘Clue: On Stage’ Performance

Marinette, WI – The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay, Marinette Campus is proud to announce a ribbon-cutting to celebrate renovations at the Herbert L. Williams Theatre and the Fine Arts Gallery. Renovations were made possible by $600,000 in support from Marinette County and donors for the “Take a Seat” campaign, who will be able to see their engraved seat plaques for the first time. The event is scheduled for May 5, 2024, at the Herbert L. Williams Theatre, 750 W. Bay Shore Street, Marinette, WI.
The ribbon-cutting, slated to commence at 12:30 p.m., will gather alumni, special guests and community leaders for a reception. Guests are also invited to attend a performance of “Clue: On Stage” from 2 – 3:30 p.m. Tickets are available “Buy One, Get One” for ribbon-cutting attendees.
Event Highlights:
- Ribbon Cutting Ceremony: The event will kick off with a ribbon-cutting ceremony outside the Fine Arts Building, featuring speaker Lauryn Albaugh, Director of the Herbert L. Williams Theatre.
- Special Performances: Attendees will enjoy live performances by local talent, including UW-Green Bay alumnus Chase Grabowski and Lisa Atkinson-LeBouef, accompanied by Brittany Welch Pilz.
- Acknowledgments: Dawn Crim, UW-Green Bay Vice Chancellor for Advancement, Community Engagement & Inclusivity, will publicly thank the 27 “Take a Seat” donors and community leaders, recognizing their generous contributions to the theatre.
