Students host annual International Dinner this Saturday
Tickets are still available for the 36th annual International Dinner this Saturday evening (April 21) at the University of Wisconsin-Green Bay.
The campus and community event is hosted by the student International Club. Members choose the menu and provide recipes for preparation by UW-Green Bay food service. Additionally, international students will entertain the audience with a fashion show and dance styles from England, Northern Ireland, Japan, India, Korea and China, among others.
Dinner will include Malaysian curry, Japanese salad, Egyptian rice, French onion soup and German apfel kuchen for dessert.
Doors to the Phoenix Room, located on the main level of UW-Green Bay’s University Union, will open at 5:30 p.m. with the dinner starting at 6 p.m., followed by the performances at 6:45 p.m.
Tickets should be reserved in advance. They are $16.50 for community members, faculty and staff; $8.50 for UW-Green Bay students; and $5 for children under 10. Tickets may be ordered by calling (920) 465-2400, or visiting the University Information and Ticketing Center in the University Union at UW-Green Bay.
