UW-Green Bay Celebrates Kwanzaa
On Tuesday, December 3, 2024 more than 100 people attended the Kwanzaa celebration on the Green Bay Campus. The focus of this year’s event was ‘Imani’ which means Faith. The speakers, included keynote speaker AJ Walker from the UW-Green Bay Police Department, and music from Ace Champion created a reflective and inspiring atmosphere that encouraged participants to consider the role of faith in their personal lives. Members of the Black Student Union presented and Champion performed a variety of African instruments throughout the evening.
