UW-Green Bay alumnus Hinz to retire

Brown County Executive and UW-Green Bay alumnus Tom Hinz announced he will not seek re-election. Hinz, a former Green Bay police officer and Brown County sheriff, was elected to the county executive post in 2007.  As for his future plans, Hinz tells the Green Bay Press-Gazette he may pursue a master’s degree in social work.
