Growth Agenda, Phuture Phoenix topics on UW College deans visit
The deans from six two-year University of Wisconsin Colleges and the president of Nicolet College in Rhinelander learned about the Growth Agenda, Phuture Phoenix and new academic excellence initiatives during a visit to UW-Green Bay on Tuesday (Nov. 4). Their visit was part of an effort to strengthen connections between UW-Green Bay and the Colleges as the University works to attract more students, including transfers.
Representing the UW Colleges were deans Dan Blankenship of UW-Fond du Lac, Al Hardersen of UW-Sheboygan, Andrew Keogh of UW-Marshfield/Wood County, Paula Langteau of UW-Marinette, Thomas Pleger of UW-Baraboo/Sauk County, and Sandra Smith of UW-Marathon County. Adrian Lorbetske, president of Nicolet College in Rhinelander, also was part of the group.
Interim Chancellor David Ward led the visitors on a tour of the campus, stopping at locations including Mary Ann Cofrin Hall, the David A. Cofrin Library, the renovated Student Services area, the Weidner Center, residence halls and the Kress Events Center. More on the deans visit.
