Learn how to better manage volunteers

If you’d like to learn more about managing volunteers, plan to attend the Volunteer Management Workshop presented by the Volunteer Center, Inc. of Brown County. Many organizations depend on volunteers to deliver vital services to their clients. Effective management of volunteer talent is essential in today’s economy. Topics covered in this workshop include: Understanding Volunteers, Volunteer Management Best Practices, Volunteer Recruitment, and Characteristics of Effective Organizations. The event is Tuesday, Oct. 5 from 2-4:30 p.m. in the University Union, Room 103 and is sponsored by the Office of Student Life and the Academic Staff Committee. Register online.
