Institute for Women’s Leadership hosts Laurie Butz, president and CEO of Capital Credit Union on October 4
Join the Institute for Women’s Leadership as President and CEO of Capital Credit Union Laurie Butz shares her leadership challenges and triumphs in our next “Women Rising: Stories from Experience” in-person on October 4. Laurie has more than 34 years in business and financial services experience, and she has held leadership positions in human resources, organizational development, training, business development and more. The event takes place at Capital Credit Union’s De Pere location from 4 to 5:30 p.m. Free for members. Non-members pay a nominal fee. Register online on our website.
Laurie has a bachelor’s degree in business administration from UW-Green Bay, a master’s degree in business administration from UW-Oshkosh, and she earned a three-year designation as Certified Chief Executive (CCE) through CUES. She is also a certified Six Sigma Green Belt through Juran Institute. Most recently, UW-Oshkosh, where she was an adjunct faculty member for over 10 years, selected Laurie as the 2022 Beta Gamma Sigma honoree to recognize her achievements in business and exemplify her pursuit of wisdom.
Laurie’s commitment to community has been demonstrated through board chair roles for YMCA of the Fox Cities and United Way Fox Cities, board personnel chair roles for YMCA of the Fox Cities, UW Fox Cities, and Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Fox Valley, as well as through management oversight of the Community First Fox Cities Marathon.
