Phoenix volleyball defeats UNLV, Pac-12’s Cal

Less than 24 hours after defeating a solid UNLV squad, the Green Bay volleyball team followed up at the Varney’s Invitational Weekend in Manhattan, Kan., with a convincing sweep (25-17, 25-21, 25-22) over the Cal Golden Bears. The win was the first in program history over a Pac-12 opponent, and moved head coach Sean Burdette’s team to 4-2. Seniors Emily Riese and Jillian Bauer received all-tournament honors. Read more.
