Green Bay Men’s Golf Awarded Horizon League Raise Your Sights Award

INDIANAPOLIS, Ind. -Wednesday afternoon, the Horizon League named the Green Bay men’s golf team one of the winners of the Raise Your Sights Award, an honor given annually to the top academic male and female team in the Horizon League.
It’s the second Raise Your Sights award in three years for the men’s golf program.
The award is based on combined grade point average (GPA) from the current academic year. Green Bay men’s golf led the League with a 3.8 GPA for the academic year, while Milwaukee women’s tennis was the top women’s team in the League with a 3.857 GPA.

The top academic male and female teams from each school were also recognized. Green Bay women’s basketball registered the highest GPA across GB women’s sports, coming in at 3.76.
Twelve different League sports were represented on the list of school winners with men’s golf leading the League with four programs receiving recognition followed by women’s tennis with three and five sports with two teams each.
