Sagrillo, Walter, alumni on ballot for New Leaf cooperative

The nominating committee of New Leaf Market Food Cooperative has announced nine candidates for the first Board of Directors to be elected at the first general membership meeting at 6 p.m. Monday, June 6, at the UW-Extension offices at 1150 Bellevue Street at 6 p.m. The candidates are Ned Dorff, Karen Early (a UW-Green Bay grad and UW Extension senior lecturer), Sue Harju, Carol Karls, Rich Kreig, Alan McAfee, Crystal Osman (an alumnus), and retired faculty members Marilyn Sagrillo and Lynn Walter. New Leaf Market is envisioned to be a full-service, member-owned, cooperative grocery store in downtown Green Bay featuring local, sustainable food.
