Finalists announced for Cofrin Library director

On-campus interviews for Director of the Cofrin Library have been scheduled. Four finalists will come to campus over the next two weeks. During their interview process the campus community will have an opportunity to meet each candidate as they offer presentations on the topic of trends and contemporary issues in academic libraries.   • Monday, March 30 Paula Ganyard
    Ganyard earned her bachelor’s in history and anthropology, as well as her masters of library science ,from the State University of New York at Buffalo. Since 2002 she has been the University Webmaster at UW-Green Bay where in addition to a redesign of the campus website, she also develops and maintains numerous academic program, project, and auxiliary websites, and has integrated new technologies into the campus website.
  • Tuesday, March 31 Marc Boucher
    Boucher earned a bachelor’s in history at UW-Milwaukee, as well as both a master’s of library and information sciences and a master’s in history from UW-Milwaukee. He currently serves as the Director of Library Services at Nicolet Area Technical College in Rhinelander, where he is responsible for all aspects of library services.
  • Tuesday, April 7 David Hurley
    Hurley earned an A.B. from Vassar College in Poughkeepsie, N.Y. and a master’s of library and information science from the University of Washington at Seattle. Most recently he served as College Librarian and Director of Library Services for Arizona Campuses, both at Diné Tribal College in Tsaile, Ariz.. He is also manager of the Virtual Library of the American Indian Higher Education Consortium.
  • Thursday, April 9 Lisa Beinhoff
    Beinhoff holds a B.F.A. in theatrical design and a master’s of library science, both from the University of Illinois at Champaign-Urbana. She also holds a Ph.D in communications from Syracuse University. She currently serves as the Director of the Learning Resources Center for Sauk Valley Community College in Dixon, Ill., where she is responsible for all aspects of library services.
