Tournament time for Phoenix men

After receiving the No. 2 seed and a pair of byes, the UW-Green Bay men’s basketball team will begin play in the 2009 Speedway Horizon League Men’s Basketball Championship Saturday at 8 p.m. (CT) against the winner of UIC and Cleveland State. The semifinal contest will be televised on ESPNU live from Hinkle Field-house in Indianapolis. The Phoenix finished its regular season schedule with a 22-9 record and a 13-5 mark in the Horizon League.
