Phoenix D crushes Penguins, 73-27

The Phoenix women’s basketball team continued its run of overpowering performances, beating Youngstown State 73-27 on Saturday in Ohio. The 46-point victory margin is the largest for the Phoenix (24-4, 14-1 HL) this season, while the 15.0 percent (6-for-40) shooting performance by the Penguins (19-8, 8-6 HL) was within one-tenth of a point of the new program-record set last weekend against UIC (14.9 percent). Green Bay will look to finish 15-1 in league play when it wraps up the regular season at 1 p.m. next Saturday (Mar. 7) at home against Detroit on Senior Day for Megan Lukan and Ellen Edison.
