Ready to make a game in just 48 hours? UW-Green Bay is proud to co-host the Global Game Jam Green Bay for the eighth year running! This international event brings together professionals, hobbyists, and students—sometimes in nearly equal numbers—for a weekend of creativity, collaboration, and fun.
What Is Global Game Jam?
Global Game Jam is the world’s largest game-creation event, where participants form teams and build original games based on a surprise theme revealed at kickoff. Whether you’re a coder, artist, writer, musician, or just curious, there’s a place for you at the jam. No experience required—just bring your enthusiasm!
Event Highlights

- Location: Urban Hub, Downtown Green Bay
- Kickoff: Friday at 5:00 PM with intro talks from industry pros and UW-Green Bay faculty
