WLUK – It was big day for hundreds of students in northeast Wisconsin yesterday as they walked across the commencement stage to receive their diplomas.
UW-Green Bay handed out over 500 degrees yesterday while UW-Oshkosh handed out nearly 600.
Officials and students of both commencement ceremonies spoke warmly of the years they spent getting to this moment.
“The opportunity to share this moment with you, graduating students, and their family and friends is something we truly cherish,” UWGB Chancellor Michael Alexander said. “Now go forth, graduates, build on the experiences you had here.”
