UW-Green Bay volleyball team rallies against Alzheimer’s in tribute game | Fox 11

GREEN BAY (WLUK) — The UW-Green Bay Women’s Volleyball Team is working to make a difference and fight Alzheimer’s disease.

The team will work to spread awareness by hosting their annual Attacking AlZ Volleyball Game when they play Robert Morris.

This year will be especially meaningful as head coach Abbey Sutherland’s family were affected by Alzheimer’s disease with her mother passing away before last season.

The game will be held on Friday, Nov. 15 at 6 p.m.

Organizers are encouraging people to bring their friends and family and join the Alzheimer’s Association to raise funds and awareness as well as honor caregivers.
