GREEN BAY, Wis. (WFRV) — The University of Wisconsin-Green Bay women’s volleyball team raised $10,215 during its Alzheimer’s Awareness Night on Nov. 7.
The community turned out in full support as Green Bay hosted IU Indianapolis. Proceeds benefit the Alzheimer’s Association, supporting 24/7 care and critical research toward a cure.
This marked the sixth time Green Bay partnered with the Alzheimer’s Association Wisconsin Chapter for an awareness night. While Green Bay fell 3-1 in the match, the event was a success for the cause, raising more than $10,000 for Alzheimer’s care and research.
