TV-2 reports new campus smoking policy a step closer

Changes to the campus smoking policy are still a few steps away from becoming official, but the Student Government Association moved forward Monday. SGA approved proposed changes to the policy, which will recommend specific locations within the campus “loop” (non-Residence Life area) where smoking would be allowed. The proposal has several more committees to pass before it reaches the chancellor’s desk for final approval. Go to Story and Video.
