(WFRV)- It is a day where you can explore, play, and discover.

In this segment, Alexa Priddy, Encompass Director of Community Impact, and Katrina Gitter, Lead Center Director at the Encompass Bellin Health Center, discuss the upcoming Big Event for Kids, why it is such a tradition in the community, and why Encompass continues to organize this event. This will be a free family event featuring food trucks offering both savory and sweet options, hands-on activities, a petting zoo, and more. This event will have special featured guests from the community throughout the day, including Miss Green Bay, the UWGB cheerleaders, and many more.

The Big Event for Kids is on Saturday, September 20th, from 9 a.m. until 3 p.m. It will take place at Heritage Hill State Park, which is located at 2640 South Webster Avenue in Green Bay.
