UWGB’s Evanescent exhibit enters final glow
GREEN BAY (WLUK) – Your last chance to visit a large, immersive, temporary sculpture on the campus of UW-Green Bay is quickly approaching.
“Evanescent” will leave campus Sunday, Sept. 15. It’s been on display since Aug. 28.
The sculpture, by Atelier Sisu, uses light and sound to connect the audience with their environment. The exhibit is free and open to the public.
Along with the sculpture, the second annual Estamos Aqui Festival Hispano, a free outdoor Hispanic Arts & Culture festival on the UWGB campus, is happening Saturday, Sept. 14 from 3 p.m. to 10 p.m. People can enjoy the second year of the event while viewing the illuminating bubbles. Last year’s event drew in over 8,000 people.
