With fall coming up, there’s a mix of outdoor activities to check out this weekend or something to enjoy around the area.
Here are things happening around Green Bay this weekend.
Gnarly Cedar Brewery grand opening
Gnarly Cedar Brewery will hold its grand opening in Wrightstown this weekend. The brewery currently shares a tasting room with LedgeStone Vineyards.
Celebrate with a block party with music from ATOWN and Wet Possum and area vendors. The opening is at noon Sept. 13 at the brewery, 420 Washington St., Wrightstown. More information about the event can be found on Facebook.
Fall planter workshop
Get your doorstep ready for autumn at the fall planter workshop by Roots on 9th. Choose from a variety of plants to use in your planter and designers will help arrange them.
The workshop is at 1 p.m. Sept. 13 at Roots on 9th and costs $25. Tickets and more information is at rootsgb.com.
¡Estamos Aqui! festival
¡Estamos Aquí! returns to celebrate Hispanic Heritage Month. The Hispanic arts and culture festival has live music, art, food and more.
The festival is 3-10 p.m. Sept. 13 on UW-Green Bay’s campus. More information about the event can be found on Facebook.
Preble fundraiser at Stillmank Brewing Company
Support Preble High School’s music department with its annual pizza sale at Stillmank Brewing Company. Preble students and staff make the pizzas themselves.
The fundraiser is 2-7 p.m. Sept. 13 at Stillmank, 215 N. Henry St., Green Bay. More information can be found on Facebook.
Stand-up with Mary Gallagher
Comedian Mary Gallagher, a University of Wisconsin-Green Bay graduate who made her comedy debut on “The Late Show with Stephen Colbert” in 2018, will bring her stand-up comedy hour to Village Grille, 1390 Bellevue St., in Bellevue.
Additionally, Gallagher will coach local comedians to perform a three-minute routine as part of the show’s opening act lineup.
Tickets are $30 on Eventbrite and $35 at the door. Information about the coaching is also at Eventbrite.
The event is at 7:30 p.m. Sept. 12, with doors opening at 6 p.m. for dinner and drinks.
