UW Green Bay Cofrin Technology & Education Center receives approval

GREEN BAY, Wis. (WBAY) – This week, UW Green Bay received approval to construct the new Cofrin Technology & Education Center to replace its aging library.

A 2020 study done on the UW Green Bay library building concluded it would cost less to replace the building than to repair it.

UWGB officials say once complete, the Cofrin Technology & Education Center will not only replace the library it will become the new heart of the campus.

Construction is scheduled to begin in the spring of 2025 and end fall of 2027.
