WBAY on admissions extension

Since UW-Green Bay extended its application period for learners in an 11-county area surrounding campus, the University has received about 80 new freshman and transfer student applications.

UW-Green Bay opened its doors longer for local students as a result of a downtrodden economy. The regular application period for new freshmen closed in mid May and the transfer application deadline was in late June.

Classes are filling up fast, but UW-Green Bay is still an available option for students whose educational plans may have changed, as WBAY reporter Sarah Thomsen reports.
