On the loading dock just outside the Hamilton Wood Type & Printing Museum in Two Rivers, Freudenrich is prepping her print.

“I started in April and worked just mostly on the weekends. It took me quite a while. I knew what I wanted to do, but to execute it was a long time,” she said.

Freudenrich is one of 37 artists taking part in the street roller spectacular. UW-Green Bay Art Professor Emeritus Berel Lutsky says it takes weeks to prepare.

“We do have a workshop here at Hamilton for people who maybe have done small prints before and never done a big one, and need some encouragement and help and planning. If you’re an experienced printmaker, you can sort of figure out how to do it. If you’re less experienced, or never done anything this big, then it takes a while to re-adjust to do it this big,” said Lutsky.
