The Sheboygan County Economic Development Corporation (SCEDC) and Small Business Development Center (SBDC) at UW-Green Bay aim to provide a wide variety of services, resources and expertise to help encourage entrepreneurial opportunities in Sheboygan County, including businesses that offer unique services and experiences to the community such as Arepa House.

Two years ago, Javier Zavarce, Leandro Chacin and Jose Leal began their journey to bring Venezuelan culture to Sheboygan through delicious food. They use fresh, high-quality ingredients and traditional recipes to make sure every dish represents authentic Venezuelan home cooking.

“Our mission is to provide a warm and welcoming dining experience where guests can enjoy the rich, vibrant flavors of Venezuela. We strive to create a friendly and inviting atmosphere where everyone feels like family. Our restaurant is more than just a place to eat, it is a place to celebrate, connect, and experience the joy of Venezuelan cuisine.”
