In the media: Now with Channel 5, Gerds talks Weidner’s new season

As a familiar name in a new role, Warren Gerds continues to cover the arts in Northeastern Wisconsin — now as critic-at-large for WFRV, Channel 5. In a column posted to the station’s homepage Wednesday (July 3), Gerds talks about the Weidner Center’s new season, which will be announced July 17. “The 2013-14 performance schedule has been expanded and is even more dynamic than the current season,” Chancellor Tom Harden says in a recent letter to friends and supporters of the signature venue.
