In the news: NBC 26 covers active shooter training
We told you here recently about this week’s two-day, on-campus active shooter training, a collaborative effort of UW-Green Bay Public Safety and the FBI. Involving participants from a number of area law enforcement departments, the scenario-based training included the use of “simunition” guns that are designed to look and sound real. Although most of the training was closed to anyone other than law enforcement, NBC 26 was able to capture some sample footage from the training and conduct interviews with participants including UW-Green Bay Police Chief Tom Kujawa.
