Former Interim Chancellor Ward on jobs numbers


Any employment report requires context, analysis and time to verify. That’s basically the advice given by noted Wisconsin economist and former UW-Green Bay interim chancellor David Ward, interviewed by a local radio station. Although it is likely some jobs have been gained, the statewide numbers released this week and being hotly debated by politicians have not been verified by the federal government, and won’t be in time for the upcoming recall election.
