Editorial: Black History Month events celebrate, educate

An editorial in the Green Bay Press-Gazette asks readers to carry the spirit and meaning of Black History Month throughout the year. The piece also applauded UW-Green Bay, Northeast Wisconsin Technical College and St. Norbert College for featuring special programs during the month. While some programs are designed to celebrate the contributions of African-Americans, others, like an upcoming talk at UW-Green Bay by a former skinhead, “involve history and discussion that’s difficult to hear.” Read more here.
