St. Norbert College to host Great Decisions Lecture Series with UW-Green Bay | St. Norbert College
“St. Norbert College’s Center for Global Engagement (CGE) will host its annual Great Decisions Lecture Series beginning Wednesday, Feb. 5, from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m., with subsequent lectures recurring weekly on Wednesdays and a single Thursday event through April 22. Each year, the lecture series focuses on critical global issues selected by the Foreign Policy Association that serve as a point of departure for dialogue and debate.
All lectures excluding those on March 25, April 8 and April 22 will take place in the Fort Howard Theater of the F. K. Bemis International Center on St. Norbert College’s campus. The lectures on March 25 and April 22 will take place in the Alumni Room of the University Union on UW-Green Bay’s campus; the lecture on April 8 will take place in the 1965 Room of the University Union on UW-Green Bay’s campus.”
Below are the lectures being held on the UW-Green Bay Campus:
March 25: Daniel Mueller, associate lecturer of Political Science at UW-La Crosse, will discuss “Climate Change and the Global Order.” Alumni Room.
April 8: Aparna Thomas, professor of Politics and Women’s Studies at Cornell College, will discuss “India and Pakistan.” 1965 Room.
April 22: Charles Irish, Bascom Distinguished Teaching Professor of Law, UW-Madison will discuss “China’s Road to Latin America.” Alumni Room.
