Faculty note: Kain shares expertise at Harvard

Kevin Kain, a lecturer for Humanistic Studies and the Adult Degree program, was invited to present at Harvard University by the dean of the Harvard Extension School and historian Donald Owstrowski of the school’s faculty. Kain’s presentation, “Theoretical and Practical Issues Concerning Online Teaching: Experiences with the Quality Matters Program,” was given to the dean and department heads of the Harvard Extension School. Kain says that the hour-long presentation stimulated a lively discussion centered largely on his work in connection with the Quality Matters Program. His visit and presentation were funded by Harvard University.
