Kraft on ad proposal: Disclosure could make a difference
Proposed legislation that would require additional disclosure in political ads has made news recently, and state and local media have picked up the story. UW-Green Bay’s Michael Kraft on Monday (Nov. 21) lent his expertise for an NBC 26 news story on the proposals, noting that knowing who’s responsible for ads can make a difference for voters. “It would be great if people could actually determine who is contributing to each side,” Kraft said, “which may affect the way they understand the issues and ultimately the way they go to vote.” Full story.
