Clarification on Marinetti position
At times, one of the casualties of the recent flurry of news coverage and blog postings has been accurate and complete reporting. One of the unfortunate “rounding errors” in some of the posts involved the nature of Mike Marinetti’s position with UW-Green Bay. The 30-year campus veteran did, in fact, retire from his former position as an assistant dean for the College of Professional and Graduate Studies. He did not, however, return to his old salary or former duties on an open-ended basis. Instead, he applied for a new position, assistant vice chancellor for academic administration. He was selected for appointment following a national search. For details on Marinetti’s position, see our original announcement on his new duties – click here.
