Students host violence survivor Jendusa-Nicolai
It was one of Wisconsin’s most horrifying and publicized crimes. In 2004, Teri Jendusa-Nicolai was beaten by her husband, bound and left for dead in a storage container in sub-freezing weather. Remarkably, she survived and is now telling her story on college campuses. Jendusa-Nicolai drew an audience to the Phoenix Room on Thursday night (Nov. 6) to hear her speak on domestic violence. The Phoenix Connexion program on student channel 20 was scheduled to speak with Jendusa-Nicolai and rebroadcast those remarks this week.
