Suri’s Historical Perspectives lecture looks at Kissinger

The final lecture for the fall 2009 Historical Perspectives Lecture Series will be Thursday (Nov. 12) and feature UW-Madison Prof. Jeremi Suri, who will speak about “Henry Kissinger and the American Century.” In 2007, Smithsonian Magazine named Suri one of America’s “Top Young Innovators” in the humanities and sciences. He is the author of Henry Kissinger and the American Century (2007). The Historical Perspectives Lecture Series was first organized in 1985. It is the foremost activity or UW-Green Bay’s Center for History and Social Change. Suri’s presentation will begin at 2 p.m. in the University Union’s Christie Theatre.
