UW-Green Bay will host its annual Chancellor’s Veteran Reception Monday, Nov. 11, inviting campus and community members to a solemn event designed to honor active military members and veterans on campus and beyond. The reception will kick off a series of events being presented throughout the week: on Tuesday, community veterans organizations will be on hand to answer questions in a round-robin format, while Wednesday will feature a 5K Veteran Awareness Walk on the Cofrin Arboretum Trails. Thursday, a retired Army Reserves mental health nurse will speak about readjusting to life on campus and in the community; and Friday will feature a veterans open house and picnic event.
