Join us for the Homologous Structures opening reception!
Join us on Thursday, October 5, from 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. for the opening reception of Homologous Structures, an exhibition featuring the work of Zoë Couvillion, Alix Deane, Yve Holtzclaw and M. Kobe. Stories of origin are told through objects, culture, and lineage. These things tie us to those who have come before us and create the structures of what we are today. Although each person has an individual history, these are analogous to those who surround us, which creates a larger tale of experiences and belonging. This exhibition features artists working in a variety of mediums who are exploring lineage and belonging through heirlooms, history, landscapes, and more. The reception will be held in the Lawton Gallery, TH 230 at UW-Green Bay. This event is free and open to the public. Check out the Lawton Gallery schedule for more information on when you can view the exhibition.
