Men’s soccer hosts No. 9 Northwestern

The Green Bay men’s soccer team will kick off its 2009 campaign by hosting ninth-ranked Northwestern Tuesday, Sept. 1. The Phoenix and Wildcats are set to face off at 7 p.m. at Santaga Stadium. Northwestern advanced to the Elite Eight of last year’s NCAA tournament, losing to eventual national champion North Carolina. “Northwestern has become one of the top teams in the country over the past few years and they return a very good team.
